Resin Bronze Gallery - Girl Drying Her Knee
The origins of
sculpture began in the bronze age. Today's
methods of cold casting creates a true work of art using an intricate
mix of bronze and resin. The highest quality casting requires special,
closely guarded skills. Hand crafted by scrupulous artisans
in the UK,
Peter's original sculpting is able to be retained so that the original
modeling may remain unchanged over the next 2,000
years. Each piece is certificated and personally signed by
the artist.

There is
something about towels and the feel of them, the texture their tactile
nature.
In the poem
'White Walls' by B.D. Youngs he says: "I would
stand bare in the water, Unabashed, And yell for my mother, Who would
come running in from somewhere nearby.... Wrapped me in a
towel, Dried my wet hair, And gave me a kiss on my forehead". He never
forgot that moment.
When
the idea I am trying to express in clay matches the thoughts in my mind
I stop sculpting. A towel dries you. Soap cleanses you. Make
of
it what you will but I stopped this sculpt before putting on the
texture of the towel - something that the observant collector asks me
about from time to time. I just shrug and say "Oh, yeah, I forgot!"
