Resin Bronze Gallery - Girl Washing Her Hair
The origins of
sculpture began in the bronze age. Today's
methods of cold casting creates a true work of art using an intricate
mix of bronze and resin. The highest quality casting requires special,
closely guarded skills. Hand crafted by scrupulous artisans
in the UK,
Peter's original sculpting is able to be retained so that the original
modeling may remain unchanged over the next 2,000
years. Each piece is certificated and personally signed by
the artist.

The more I sculpt, the more I leave unsculpted. Much ink has been spilled on the subject of artists and the much returned to theme of 'the bather'. Why bathing, washing hair?
For me I find it impossible to say apart from my only interest in the
theme stems from the people I observe from behind my eyes, wondering
what's behind theirs. Can
soap and water wash off yesterday?
From out of the river rises a beauty whose only mirror is peace
People like to have clean hair.
They panic if it feels unwashed. To bathe can be a pleasure or a chore.
I'd rather depict pleasure than pain.
I agree with R W Emerson "If eyes were made for seeing, Then Beauty is its own excuse for being".
